Please wear long, dark, loose fitted clothing and sandals/loose fitting shoes to your appointment - tight clothes can potentially cause unwanted lines. During your session you may wear as much or as little you are comfortable with. If you choose to leave under garments on please make sure they are dark in color (our solution washes out of most clothes - but it is always better to be safe).
*Men must wear boxers, briefs, swim trunks or shorts
You should expect to be with us for approximately 20 - 30 minutes (longer if you are adding contouring). Upon arrival your spray tan artist will help you choose what shade of bronze is best for you. The spray tanning session itself will only take about 15 minutes. After your session you will see an immediate color (unless we go with a clear solution), this is a cosmetic bronzer and helps determine the tone of your tan for the first 2-5 days.
CHILL OUT BABE. Once your spray tanning session is complete you will want to refrain from getting wet or sweating until your first rinse. Do not touch your body with the palms of your hands while bronzer layer is still on. Rinse time is based on desired color. If you choose to sleep in your tan prior to showering make sure you sleep in long loose fitted clothing to avoid skin to skin contact. Sleep with the air or fan on to avoid sweating.
This depends on which solution you choose.
If you choose THE REGULAR TAN: You may shower anytime after 8 - 12 hours post tan.
If you choose THE RAPID TAN: This solution is RINSE time sensitive. Color level will be determined by your rinse time: 1-2 hour rinse = Light, 3-4 hour rinse = Medium/Medium Dark & 5-6 hour rinse = Dark.
In order to maintain your airbrush tan be sure to -
Your tan will typically last 7-10 days with proper care. Please keep in mind - working out, soaking in water, not hydrating, not moisturizing, PH balances, hormones, and medications can all affect your sunless tanning results.
Sure can, momma! Our tanning solutions are all natural, vegan, paraben free, gluten free, cruelty free, and non - toxic.
If you are currently breastfeeding, we can recommend a few things to you at your appointment
NO! If you have skin that is peeling, the tan will adhere to your fresh skin differently than the rest of your body. If you have a bad sunburn, which typically means peeling, the tan will peel and it's just not a good look. Trust us with this one!
Abso-frickin'-lutely! Why not head down to the beach already lookin' glowy AF? The number one question we get is will it last? Yes, and no!
Though yes it's true, hot water and chlorine will make the tan fade quicker, BUT! There are extra steps you can take to protect the longevity of your tan. MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE! Lathering your body in lotion prior to swimming/hot tubbing will act as a barrier and makin sure you are applying SPF. I usually tell clients instead of 7-10 days, your tan may last 5-7 days (if constantly exposed to hot/chlorinated water). Plus side is, typically clients come home naturally tanned - so by the time the spray tan fades, you'll still be rockin a sunkissed glow!

Bikini is groin only whereas bikini plus is taken further in past the panty line and includes between the cheeks.
No, not really. You can gently exfoliate the area a few days prior to help get rid of any dead skin and drinking plenty of water the days leading up to your appointment will also help with the removal of hair. Wearing looser fitted clothing, breathable underwear is also highly recommended. Take Tylenol 45-60 mins before your appointment if you are worried about any discomfort.
Absolutely not! If bruising occurs due to the technician getting stuck, or the client flinching during the removal of the sugar paste, it should be extremely minimal (the size of a dime or smaller) and will typically disappear within 24 hours. Any bruising that covers a larger area, painful, is dark and lasts is NOT a normal occurrence and 100% technician error and would recommend finding a new sugarist.
Nope, not at all! Sugar is applied at room temperature - it will never burn the skin.
Less likely, actually. Sugar is a natural exfoliant and because of how the hair is removed (with the direction of growth) it helps minimize the risks of ingrown hairs. Sugaring is definitely a team effort, though! It is up to the client to follow proper aftercare to keep ingrown hairs at bay.
Yes! Sugaring will actually help. That being said, if the skin is broken, we would need to avoid that area.
Nope! No such thing as too long. The longer the hair, the more uncomfortable the client may feel as the sugar is applied against the hair growth which results in a higher risk of feeling a pull. That being said, we always mold the sugar slowly to avoid pulling and to keep our clients as comfortable as possible.
If you are currently shaving - two weeks worth of growth. If you are currently waxing or sugaring elsewhere, then four weeks.
Brazilian maintenance is anywhere from 3-5 weeks. It depends on the individuals growth rate and preference. With consistent maintenance you will find your hair will be very sparse and fine. Other parts of our body unfortunately grow faster such as our underarms and the vellus hair on our face - which is usually booked every 3-4 weeks. Legs are usually booked 4-6 weeks apart.
No, you should leave feeling smooth! When clients are just starting out with sugaring (from shaving) it can sometimes take 3 appointments to get all of the hair on the same growth cycle. So during those first couple of appointments there may be a few hairs left behind that were not long enough for the sugar to grab. We tell clients; DON'T touch them. Those hairs will be grabbed at your next appointment. If we are noticing the hair isn't removing as it should, that shows us the client may not be exfoliating or the clothing they wear is causing breakage. We always inspect after the service and remove any strays with tweezers.
Brazilians are nothing but one big PRO. Shaving can cause ingrown hairs, painful razor burns, irritation and lets be real - the grow back is a BITCH. We have all done the awkward weird leg movements to try and scratch the itch. The grow back with Brazilians is nothing but a breeze and will have you asking yourself why you didn't start sooner. The hair grows back feeling soft, fine and sparse.
For the day of and day after; no sex, no exercising, no hot baths, no swimming, no hot tubs, no saunas. After the 24 hours, exfoliate using either a sugar scrub or an exfoliating mitt (NO loofas) - do this twice a week ONLY. Over exfoliating can have the opposite affect and cause irritation. Moisturize DAILY using either an area specific oil or an unscented lotion (sorry ladies - NO bath and body works). Make sure to wear breathable underwear (if you live the commando life - do not go commando in jeans in the first 48 hours as that will cause pustules). If you are an avid gym goer and/or naturally sweaty - muff wipes are an absolute must! Refreshing the area immediately after your workout (and changing your underwear) will help eliminate the risks of ingrown hairs.
